Thank you for your interest in supporting the IMC!

Attending our performances and events is a great way to support us, however ticket sales and membership dues provide just 40% of our operating income.

You can also help by sharing your time, talent, and treasure with us—you can make a gift, become a sponsor, or volunteer.

THE BIG GAY PROM

May 17, 2025

Kristin St. Pierre and Keith Turner, Co-Chairs

Join us for a glittering evening at The Big Gay Prom, hosted by the Indianapolis Men’s Chorus, as we celebrate 35 years of music, inclusivity, and community spirit. This isn’t just a prom—it’s a vibrant celebration of community, open to all, whether you're reliving your prom night, experiencing it for the first time, or simply enjoying an unforgettable night out. Expect dazzling performances by IMC singers, a silent and live auction, a dance floor that invites all to move, and a sumptuous dinner to set the tone for a night filled with joy.

Beyond the excitement of the evening, The Big Gay Prom is a powerful opportunity to support the IMC’s mission to inspire, heal, and unite through music.

The Big Gay Prom Committee Kick-Off is November 19th at 6pm.

We are currently seeking dedicated committee members to make this magical evening possible. As a member of the Big Gay Prom Committee, you will play a crucial role in:

  • Sponsorship Outreach: Identifying and securing corporate and individual sponsors to support the event.

  • Auction Curation: Securing unique and desirable auction items to drive fundraising efforts.

  • Promotion and Ticket Sales: Encouraging attendance by spreading the word and helping ensure the event reaches capacity.

  • Event Logistics: Assisting with event details such as décor, entertainment coordination, and volunteer management.

This is a hands-on, collaborative role where you'll work alongside event co-chairs Kristin St. Pierre and Keith Turner, as well as IMC staff. Most meetings will be virtual, with flexible responsibilities to fit your schedule, ensuring everyone can contribute meaningfully.

Meetings will take place once a month with possible additional meetings as we get closer to the event.

Our first Committee Kick-off Meeting will be held on November 19th at 6pm. If you're passionate about making a difference and being part of a community-building celebration, we’d love to hear from you! For more information, please contact Stephen McCoy, Executive Director, at smccoy@indianapolismenschorus.org, or text 317-445-8856.
